The Google Play Store list suggests that Android users will be at the forefront of using Battlefield Mobile. The game is expected to bring beta on a region-by-region basis and, therefore, not all users will be able to play at the same time.
Further, DICE revealed in a recent Q&A session that the game will first be available in Indonesia and the Philippines. The game will initially be limited to the Grand Market map in Battlefield 3.
Battlefield Mobile is expected to be a free-to-play game with the ability to purchase in-app components that may include cosmetic items, unlockable upgrades, and the game's own battle pass system.
New gameplay mode
The title will come with multiple game modes, and the graphics may seem a step down from the PC titles, which is understandable, DICE "known for the same wild conditions and explosive glasses battlefield."
Gameplay mode includes a tactical mode that emphasizes agility on the steps, a destruction mode that allows players to become an ATV commander for speed, a stealth mode that focuses on stealth, and a war tanks mode that includes a fully armored tank.
The squad-based gameplay will also feature maps that are familiar to battlefield players. There is also a class system that will allow players to take on the roles of attack, support, medical and recon. There are also player customizations and backstories for the game's war heroes.
As you get closer to the launch of the game, you should know more about Battlefield Mobile, which is still a long way off with the full release expected next year.
