Realme To Launch Affordable 5G Phones In India Under Rs.10,000

Realme to Launch Sub-Rs. 10,000 5G Phones in India in 2022, Reveals Madhav Sheth 

Realme is set to launch 5G phones under Rs. 10,000 price series next year, India CEO Madhav Sheth revealed during a webinar on Wednesday.  

All the new products of the company are priced at Rs. 15,000 will only be 5G in the near future. The Chinese company launched Realme X50 Pro 5G last year and launched 5G in India. 

However, the launch of models like Realme 8 5G, Realmy Norzo 30 Pro 5G and Realme X7 Max 5G recently expanded the 5G phone portfolio in the country. 

In 2021, we aim to be the 5G leader in India by making technology more accessible from premium to universal, ”said Sheth. 

He revealed that Realme will launch the Realme GT series in the country next quarter as part of its 5G strategy.  The executive underlined that there will be several Realm GT models, not just one product. 

Realme unveiled the Realmy GT5G in China in March and brought it to global markets in June, including Europe, Poland, Russia, Spain and Thailand. It also has two streamlined models in the Realm GT Neo series, the Realm GT Neo and the Realm GT Neo Flash. 

Further, the company expects to expand the new lineup in the near future following the launch of the Realm GT Master Edition. 

In addition to the launch of the Realme GT series, Sheth said during the webinar that the company plans to expand its 5G phones in the Narzo segment by launching new models this year.  Last month, Realmy introduced the Realmy Narzo 30 5G in the Narzo series as its latest 5G phone.

Realme had earlier this year launched a portfolio of all 5G phones at Rs. 30,000 price segment in the country. This promise is worth Rs. 15,000 price bracket.

 

Sheth said it is difficult to say exactly when the company will get its entire 5G portfolio. He said last month that Realme would launch a 5G phone that costs around डॉलर 100 (approximately Rs 7,500).

Last week, Realm unveiled its new '1 + 5 + T' strategy under which it plans smartphones, which include five key categories of Internet of Things (IoT) products (real wireless (TWS) connected to earbuds, wearables, TVs), Laptops and tablets) and an open partner platform to support IoT startups.
