Battlegrounds Mobile India Announces New Ranking Rules And Royal Pass Changes

Battlegrounds Mobile India Announces New  Ranking Rules, Royal Pass Changed Beyond Season 20: All Details

Battlegrounds Mobile India was released earlier this month for players on the Android platform. The PUBG Mobile India variant is yet to launch on the iOS platform, but before that game maker Krafton has announced that BGMI players can show readiness for the new season. Calling it Battlegrounds Mobile India Season 20, the developer has detailed all the new things and changes coming in the new season. The new season brings changes to the ranking system, the Royal Pass rollout, new abbreviations and more.

Krafton confirmed on his official site that Battlegrounds Mobile India Season 19 will end on July 19. The Royal Pass rankings will be changed with Battlegrounds Mobile India Season 20. Specifically, the ranking will be applied in the form of forward cycles and the three sessions will be combined as a single cycle. BGMI has previously conducted patches to implement changes to the ranking season system. Additional rewards can be gained by getting certain levels in the cycle regularly, says Krafton. When the three seasons together cycle ends, cycle 2 begins. Each season in the first cycle will be numbered as C1S1, C1S2 and C1S3. Then in cycle 2, each season will be marked C2S1, C2S2, C2S3 and so on.

Starting with Royal Pass Season 20, Krafton announced that the season would continue on a monthly basis. So instead of spending two months on one Royal Pass, Battlegrounds Mobile India will release a separate Royal Pass every month. The BGMI new season cycle will begin on July 14 at 7:30 p.m. Brief information for the Royal Pass season has also been tweaked. Going forward, season 20 will be named M1, season 21 will be called M2, and so on.

BGMI has warned players that the Royal Pass is a seasonal item that can only be used until the end of the respective season. It cannot be used after the end of the season and needs to be repurchased when the new season opens. Both Royal Pass level and RP will be reset when Royal Pass season 19 ends. BGMI players must claim all Royal Prize Season 19 prizes before the end of the season, until July 14 at 05:29:59 p.m. Krafton also noted that the RP did not claim to have purchased the crate before the opening of Season M1 from Royal Pass Season 19. This only applies to post-harvest purchases of M1.
