WhatsApp Now Lets You Transfer Data From Android To Iphone: Here's How!
After much anticipation, WhatsApp users are finally getting the option to switch from an Android phone to an iPhone. The instant messaging app announced new capabilities in beta on Tuesday. The update enables users to transfer their WhatsApp account information, profile photos, personal and group chats, chat history, media and settings from Android phone to iPhone. Last year, WhatsApp enabled users to transfer their chats from iPhone to Android phones. That change, however, has so far been limited to select Samsung and Google phones.
Nearly 10 months after the official announcement, WhatsApp began bringing the ability to transfer data from an Android phone to an iPhone. Users must have the latest Move to iOS app installed on their Android phone to begin the transfer process.
"With end-to-end encryption, we're adding the ability to securely switch between phones in WhatsApp and transfer your chat history, photos, videos and voice messages between Android and iPhone. This is a highly requested feature," said Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO. , Meta, while announcing the update in a comment on his Facebook page.
WhatsApp told technicaldivu.com that the beta, which enables data transfer from Android phones to iPhones, is slowly rolling out and will take about a week to reach all users.
Users must have a device running Android 5 or higher to transfer data, while the iPhone on which the data is to be transferred must run at least iOS 15.5. WhatsApp is also required for Android version 2.22.7.74 or higher to enable data transfer. Android phones also need to have the Move to iOS app installed. Next, users need to have the same phone number on their iPhone as their Android phone to move data.

WhatsApp says it is also making a number of improvements to how the group feature works, regardless of whether the user is part of a community or not. The company also states that it is introducing new and improved ways to reduce overload in large group chats. Hopefully, this will help users to easily analyze hundreds of messages in a group chat. 2) Large Group Size
WhatsApp is expanding the group limit from the current 256 people to 512 people. This allows users to create groups as large as 100,000 using “supergroup”.

WhatsApp is currently introducing an emoji response feature that allows users to respond to chat messages using emoji. WhatsApp recently introduced a chat filter for business account users, and now, according to a report from WABetainfo, the company is working to bring a chat filter feature into standard user accounts. As you can see in the screenshot, once this feature is rolled out users will be able to filter unread chats, contacts, non-contacts, and chats by groups. This would be a welcome addition because, at present, users can only find chats by tapping the search button in the three-point menu and searching for personal messages. Chat Filter Options will make it easier to find the desired message by filtering chat messages by group and criteria.
