Battlegrounds Mobile India 1.8.5 Update - Jujutsu Kaisen Characters in Erangel, New Santorini Map
The Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) 1.8.5 update will be released sometime in February, and a secret peak of what's coming has been revealed. In the preview of the update, the game has been tampered with to get Jujutsu Casen characters in the Arangel map, treasure boxes in Arangel and Livik, skull grenades to summon bosses and powerful objects, and a new Santorini map. Used for both arena training and team deathmatch.
Video shared by BGMI on its Instagram handle lists some of the upcoming changes in the 1.8.5 update. The first feature of the update is that the characters of Jujutsu Cassen are coming to Arangel. Jujutsu Casein Theme Mode can be played at the bottom right or in a ranked match by clicking on Orange and Livic. Players can also interact with four characters from the main island manga series.
Other highlights include locked treasure boxes that can be found in Orangegel and Livic. The location and hints of this box in the Seasons tab. This box contains loot items as well as items that can be used for reward exchange. Some items can also be used to accomplish special accomplishments.
In addition, skull grenades will occasionally pop up in Arangel and Livic. These grenades can be used to summon the boss and if you defeat the boss you will get powerful items. However, there is a suggestion that the boss cannot be called if the grenade is thrown into a narrow corner.
There is also a new 8v8 Santorini map based on the island of Santorini and it can be found in the Unranked tab and Arena tab. Gears will be available to catch at the starting point and the zone names are shown as it is a very detailed map. Players will be segregated into blue or red teams, and in an 8v8 match, the team that scores 80 points within 10 minutes wins the match.
